I literally squealed with joy when I heard that The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes (i.e. Book 2) movie has been officially green lit and starts filming later this year!
This is great for many reasons - it means Constantine have faith in the City of Bones, so we should get an awesome movie (after one hell of a wait). It's also good that Lily and Jamie have been locked-in to reprised their roles (it sucks when movies replace actors for sequels). I personally cannot wait to see the Fairy Queen scene as it involves a certain kiss and drastic consequences! It also means that we won't have to wait years for the series to continue! Yay!
The producers have also released more official character posters this week. The one of JRM as Valentine is my fav. You can view them all here!

The Official VAMPIRE ACADEMY Movie FB page posted this awesome pic of the lovely Zoey Deutch from a magazine article. I must say she's looking very Rose like and bad ass!
I think Zoey will make a great Rose and she's defo putting a lot of work into training!
