I received a copy in exchange for an honest review!

What I say (review): So in Twilight we met good 'vegetarian' vampires like the Cullens and naughty human eating ones like Victoria and James. Well in Secrets Of The Moon Kristy Centeno does a similar thing with werewolves. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way saying Secrets of the Moon is like Twilight (because thankfully it isn't), I'm just highlighting how Centeno puts an extra twist in the werewolf story by having normal weres and those who lust for blood! Yep humans beware or is it were?

In the prologue we learn how Marjorie crashed her car, nearly killing herself and her friends. Over a year later she's started Uni where she meets the mysterious and slightly creepy, hottie Kyran. It took me ages to realise the main character's were college age because the strict class schedule and campus dynamic seemed more like high school than Uni (maybe it's different outside the UK).

I liked Kyran and felt sorry for his situation, although some of his decisions were really annoying and frustrating. Kyran is moody and dark; he has a really dangerous side which often interferes with his life. Kyran has more secrets than your average college student, yet he's also sexy, strong and powerful.

Alexis is Kyran's twin brother, who is the polar opposite to Kyran. Where Kyran's moody and dark, Alexis is charming and light. He's also clearly got a thing for Marjorie too (lucky girl), I'm hoping the sequel isn't going to include a cheesy love triangle between Marjie and the twins. In a way I think they both suit her, so if we're going to get a love triangle I hope it's done right!?

Centeno leaves a lot unanswered in Secrets Of The Moon. I'm hoping we'll learn more about the supernatural and the other werewolves. I also think Marjie's Mum must have something to do with Marjie's appeal, or at least be able to provide some answers about her special blood.  Also who is the secret Alpha?

I enjoyed Secrets Of The Moon and am looking forward to book #2. My only gripe is how Marjie and her friends sometimes come across as immature and some of their conversations were slightly muddled. More Kyran and Alexis soon please...!
