What I say: Uninhibited is part of a series but you don't need to have read the previous books, although it does help (I somehow managed to read them out of order). Dex and Alicia both appeared in the previous book Unconditional. If you've read book #3 you'll remember who Alicia and Dex are...
I really liked Alicia because she's sweet, sassy and determined. I loved how she took a chance and stepped out of her comfort zone. She's lacking confidence and it was interesting to see her (sorry about the cliche) 'fulfilling her potential'. 
Dex (love the name) is a rich and famous rockstar with a dark past. He has some big issues he needs to deal with and Alicia's determined to help him. Dex brings out the fun and more carefree side of Alicia and helps her deal with her problems (which are very different to his). Both suffer from insecurities, doubts and jealousies which cause all kinds of problems. I was expecting certain people to become aware of past feelings and for this to cause huge problems.

It was nice to see Carina, Emerson, Hunter, Brit, Garrett etc make appearances, but I enjoyed getting to meet new characters. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting Dex's sister's story sometime soon...
