Lisa Renee Jones Bio:

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Lisa Renee Jones is the author of the highly acclaimed INSIDE OUT SERIES, and is now in development by Suzanne Todd (Alice in Wonderland, Austin Powers, Must Love Dogs) for cable TV. In addition, her Tall, Dark and Deadly series and The Secret Life of Amy Bensen series, both spent several months on a combination of the NY Times and USA Today and USA Today lists.

Since beginning her publishing career in 2007, Lisa has published more than 40 books translated around the world. Booklist says that Jones suspense truly sizzles with an energy similar to FBI tales with a paranormal twist by Julie Garwood or Suzanne Brockmann.

Prior to publishing, Lisa owned multi-state staffing agency that was recognized many times by The Austin Business Journal and also praised by Dallas Women Magazine. In 1998 LRJ was listed as the #7 growing women owned business in Entrepreneur Magazine.

Lisa loves to hear from her readers. You can reach her at www.lisareneejones.com and she is active on twitter and facebook daily.

What I say: In the second Mark POV novella My Hunger we get a great insight into how Mark really felt about Rebecca, Eva, Chris and Sara.

I'd say My Hunger is a story of guilt. Mark feels fguilty about his involvement in the Rebecca mystery and the other events which have happened as a result of it all. I have to admit I was sceptical about him having any real feelings for Rebecca, because he always seemed so allogh and cold; boy was I wrong!

All he has left now is guilt, a horrible family problem and a potential media storm - needless to say I really felt for him! Mark meets Crystal aka Miss SO not submissive and she both intrigues and terrifies him. I loved how she stood up to him and was such a contrast to the eager to please subs he's used to. It was interesting to see the pressure for him to be a good Master and how such a role helps him to focus in a world spinning out of control.

As ever with this naughty series, the scenes are hot and definitely not for younger readers. With My Hunger Lisa Renee Jones has managed to make me feel for Mark and I definitely softened towards him. I'd like to see Mark and hopefully Crystal get their own book as well as these novellas, but then I'm just greedy :)

4 Stars in my Sky!
