(Light-hearted contemporary romance that does not contain explicit language or sex.)
What I say: Aww!! I really enjoyed the sweet romance demonstrated in The Trouble With Flying and loved that it wasn't all OTT angst and drama. I'm a real believer in fate, so I appreciated the chance encounter element.
Another thing worth noting is that the book is not only sweet, but it's also funny. Whilst Sarah's shy and cute, Aiden is charming and caring. I haven't read many books set in South Africa and I enjoyed reading about Sarah's world. There's a certain scene involving a book which really made me smile.
Although there isn't lots of angst there is drama and misunderstandings. The interesting part was seeing whether they would be able to move past them. I'm going to call it a coming of age story, at least for Sarah, whom we watch develop and step out of her comfort zone.
Short, cute and fun.
