I love a good quote & so I'm starting a 'My fav quote' feature. These will be from books, plays, TV shows and movies. And will be posted whenever I feel inspired...
First up is a quote posted last Sunday - chosen because it's from one of my favourite plays and because I had been translating Latin philosophy:
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet (Act 1, Scene 5, Lines 151-2 - in my text).
Wednesday quote: I seem to keep stumbling across books with cheating, evil women plotting or dramatic OTT angst. I couldn't get Sir Walter Scott's Marmion out of my head & this quote seemed very fitting...
"Oh! what a tangled web we weave
When first we practice to deceive!"
This weekend I'm feeling very YA with two of my fav book related quotes from Onyx (from Jennifer L. Armentrout's Lux series):
“Dogeared pages were the Antichrist of book lovers everywhere.”
