The Hazards of Skinny Dipping Review

The Hazards of Skinny Dipping - Hazards #1
by Alyssa Rose Ivy

What they say: This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.

What I say: Before I get into the story and romance, I'm going to start by saying how funny the book was. Don't get me wrong there are some sweet and sad scenes but the funny parts were my fav. Some of the situations Juliet found herself in were hilarious!

I was expecting Juliet to be quiet, nerdy and really inexperienced. Thankfully what she actually is, is fun, down to earth and spirited. The title comes into play from the beginning of the book but it's the events following as Juliet starts Uni which make the story.

The guys: Dylan is the hottie she's always wanted - he's also a bit of a tool. I couldn't believe some of the things he did! Parts of their story reminded me of the TV show Greek. Don't get me started on his brother, who I had high hopes for! My favourite was Reed. He's not the typical frat guy I was expecting (yes he is a frat guy and is popular), but he's so much more.

The friendship between Reed and Juliet was both sweet and infuriating. I couldn't believe how long they played the friend card for! Reed is charming, caring and really attractive. What I liked the most about him, was how he paid attention; he noticed the little things about Juliet and really listened to her *swoons*!
