A bucket load of relief!

On a completely non-book related note...

It's been an absolutely horrific week worldwide.

Starting with the Boston marathon bombings on Monday, I personally find it difficult to comprehend how anybody could carry out such vile acts. It somehow seems worse that the bombers were so young and had been living in the US for so long!

The images of the wounded will stay with me for a long time, as will the pics of those awesome people who put their own lives at risk to help the injured.

The ensuing manhunt which culminated with more deaths and several gun battles across Boston just doesn't seem real. I've been glued to BBC news as they showed footage of the gunfights and announced the death of Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

I watched as brave police officers and FBI agents did everything to catch the surviving brother. With the arrest last night of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the whole nightmare seems so unreal. My heart goes out to everybody in Boston!

This week also saw an awful coach crash in the Alps, the terrible fire and explosion in Texas and then over night, the earthquake in China which has reportedly killed hundreds!

Man, lets hope we don't see another week like this anytime soon!
