One novel and four novellas promise to take readers back into New York Times bestselling author Liliana Hart’s MacKenzie Family with hot and steamy stories readers are sure to lose themselves in.

The MacKenzie Family Series

I received copies of the series in exchange for an honest review!

SPIES & STILETTOS - Liliana Hart

Liliana Hart’s SPIES & STILETTOS (A MacKenzie Family Novel)

What I say: Imagine being on the sidelines surrounded by some of the worlds most lethal men, yet having more than your fair share of demons that only you can tackle. Welcome to Elena’s world!

The men of Mackenzie Security are legendary - They are know for their badassery and for getting things done, but also for their swoon worthy swagger and dreamy good looks. So Brady fits right in! Hello handsome!!

Brady is determined to be there for Elena, even if it means saving her from herself. He discovers that it's not always just as easy as solving every problem, because sometimes people need to find a way to help themselves.

Spies & Stilettos is about vengeance, but more over its about love and friendship with a lot of covert spy action.

NEVER SURRENDER - Kaylea Cross

Kaylea Cross’s NEVER SURRENDER (A MacKenzie Family Novella)

Amazon * Barnes and Noble * Kobo * iBooksGooglePlay

What I say: I’m a newbie to the series but was able to jump right in with the romantic action and drama.

The story packs quite the punch but manages to keep the swoony romance between Candace aka Ace, and Ryan, right up there with the often unexpected action.

I liked how the plot was based around a wedding – it kinda reminded me of JLA’s Tempting the Best Man but with a Special Ops twist. It was like an action movie mixed with a rom-com.

There’s heaps of action, intrigue and suspense, plus some good old fashion badassery!

I had taste of Surrender, Montana…

3.5 Stars in my Sky!

AVENGED - Jay Crownover

Jay Crownover’s AVENGED (A MacKenzie Family Novella)

Amazon * Barnes and Noble * Kobo * iBooksGooglePlay

What I say: I’m a big Jay Crownover fangirl so was always going to enjoy this one but it surpassed my expectations of a JC novella!

Not only do we get Jay’s usual swagger but we’re also treated to new characters, old friends and all the crossover fun!

We meet Echo in the most dramatic of circumstances. She’s sweet, damaged and all kinds of funny. Ben is living out in the middle of nowhere in Montana, the home of the Mackenzie’s when Echo makes a dramatic entrance.

I have to admit it took me a second to place Ben and which Jay series I knew him from but then, bam! What a guy! Jay does what she always manages to do and takes a previously unlikable character, turns them around, then has them completely charm us – this is totally what happens with Ben.

Echo is particularly strong. She’s been through a heck of a lot, yet has managed to survive against all the odds.

I loved the hot chemistry between them and liked getting to meet another Mackenzie brother.

4.5 Stars in my Sky!

HOT WITNESS - Lynn Raye Harris

What I say: All the drama! Lynn Raye Harris packs a heck of a lot into Hot Witness. There’s so much action in Eva and Jake's story that I certainly didn’t get bored.

I love a kickass heroine like Eva. She’s extremely determined, strong and talented. She never gives up on her goal of justice by putting everything into fighting the bad guys. She never comes across as hard or too steely but The Brothers of Sin better watch out with Eva around.

Jake has spent years righting past wrongs and serving his country, but he’s about to be faced with the mission of a lifetime – saving Eva from the Brothers and herself.

I loved them together and really wanted them to find the HEA…

4 Stars in my Sky!

WICKED HOT - Gennita Low

Gennita Low’s WICKED HOT (A MacKenzie Family Novella)

AmazonBarnes and NobleKobo * iBooksGooglePlay

What I say:  This is the first story I’ve read by Gennita Low and I liked her eye for detail. She certainly knows her stuff when it comes to spies, soldiers and Navy SEALS. I did find myself getting a little confused by the lingo at times but I enjoyed the action nonetheless.

The setting is really interesting and I liked Kirk and Surya. Their flirty banter is hilarious – smacked bottoms indeed! Plus the chemistry is hot!

The drama is face paced and high-octane. I felt as though I was on a covert mission with them and never quite knew what was going to happen next.

3.5 Stars in my Sky!
