What I say: M.N. Forgy continues her MC books by moving on from the Devils Dust series to the Sin City Outlaws in Reign - You gotta love a spin-off right? No, yes, well sort of!
Zeek is the bad ass president of Sin City Outlaws MC. He lives a dramatic and violent life in Las Vegas. Every vice is catered for and he's accustomed to getting his own way (other than when a certain Uncle is involved). Zeek's routine of easy women and club life becomes complicated when he meet Jillian.
Jillian works for the Las Vegas police. She's unimpressed by the control the MC seems to have over the city and doesn't back down from the scary biker king. Be prepared for drama and a lot of naughty details!
I'm a big fab of MC romances, so I was expecting to love Reign, but for some reason I couldn't quite connect with the characters and wasn't as invested as I expected to be. Don't get me wrong, a lot happens and Zeek definitely fulfils the alpha biker brief.
I'm sure most people who love biker books will enjoy Reign, and I do seem to be in the minority here, but I just didn't love it. It's dramatic, violent and naughty. Be prepared for a cliffy...
