I had a great time at The British Book Affair 2015 yesterday and want to say a HUGE thanks to all the authors, organisers, readers, bloggers & bored husbands/BFs who helped make it such a fab day.
It's always a bit weird going to these events alone but I had a blast & that was largely down to the kindness of the authors (much fan-girling happened) and my new crowd & queue buddies!
After running out of phone/camera battery in Dublin last year, I took my charger along to London, then promptly got so excited I forgot to take many pics. But here's how some of my day went...
Lots of queueing but lots of fun queue buddies.
I shoved my rather old & battered copy of Always You at Kirsty Moseley.
The lovely Jodi Ellen Malpas had lots of Jesse and Miller swag!
Not only did Samantha Towle have Galaxy chocolate (if you've read REVVED you'll know why) but also lots of fab goodies & Craig aka Real Life Jake! She's also SO lovely that my fan-girl moments were off the charts!
Emma Chase was so super friendly and chatted to everybody for ages :)
This is the second event I've meet Abbi Glines at and although she also has ridiculously long queues of people waiting, she's always so friendly!
Speaking of crowds, look how busy it was.
The lovely soldiers raising awareness for such a great cause (I did have to remind a few people they are actual soldiers and not strippers so wouldn't be taking their tops off)!
I found two Christians *ahem* Jamies!
The Hot Bed girlies were hilarious (thanks for the sexy games book).
Check out my book & swag haul from the event. The good news is that lots of the swag & some of the books will be appearing in GIVEAWAYS coming soon...
