New Design and More Coming

You may notice the new blog design start to appear today.

I wanted to highlight that the blog is about more than purely book reviews. THERE WILL STILL BE LOTS OF BOOK LOVE SO DON'T WORRY. But as well as books, I love all things TV, movie & fandom focused so expect to see lots of bookish and cult show/movie themed goodies/product reviews.

This will be reflected more on the blog over the next few months so watch this space...

The main difference is the lack of purple and the simplified layout. Thanks for all the advice re using pipdig & linkedwithin!

Let's Talk About Updates

The past: You may have noticed less PR company based blog tours, blitzes and reveals on the blog over the past few months. 
The present: I made a conscious decision to scale these back over time and to go back to basics. This is what I'm currently working on.
The future: I want to focus on more of the things I love. I'll still be posting about books, books and more books, but also about anything and everything I enjoy. Ranging from shows, movies, fandom goodies, places I love or want to visit and probably pics of themed cakes - I'm a huge fan of book bakes! Basically if I love it then I'm likely to post about it.
What does this mean for the blog? Well it means an updated logo and a new layout, more features, more competitions, more interaction and more regularly updated content. This won't happen all at once because I'm pretty slow when it comes to graphic and web design. 
So what I'm really saying is watch this space...
Happy Friday, I'm off to spend it with a certainly newly released naughty movie and a glass of fizz!

You may notice a slight change in proceedings over the next couple of weeks as I'm hopping across the Pond to visit a famous mouse and stock up on American books.

Whilst I'm away I won't be hosting cover reveals, blasts or tour posts because I can't guarantee internet access. 

I do have several reviews planned for some awesome books, and of course my usual waiting on posts.

Normal service will resume when I'm back (hopefully with a tan).

Essex Author Extravaganza in Pictures

I had a fab time at Essex Author Extravaganza 2016 last weekend and want to say a HUGE thanks to all the authors, organisers, readers, bloggers who helped make it such a fab weekend & of course to the lovely Shannon for organising the event. 

It can be a bit weird going to these events alone but I had a blast and thanks to everybody who adopted me for the weekend.
