I received a copy in exchange for an honest review!
What I say: The Soul Mate is sweet, funny and all kinds of sexy. It's also dramatic and infuriating but easy to read.
I actually read the book after finishing a series of very heavy and complicated fantasy stories so it was nice to focus on something lighthearted and sassy.
Bren's one night with handsome stranger Mason leads to a very unexpected and unplanned trip to the doctor. This meeting changes everything...
I liked Bren although I didn't really understand her at times. While I appreciated her independence I did find myself getting a little stressed at how often she dismissed him. Believe me I'm REALLY not one to buy into insta love so I wasn't sure about how quickly Mason went all in to pursue her, but once I realised how invested he was I wanted her to give him a chance and consider the idea of them.
Mason was not at all what I expected. He actually wanted more than the usual one nighter with mystery girl Bren and liked the idea of her being pregnant. I'm sure many girls, and of course guys out there, would love to meet a charming and sexy doctor.
Mason really knows how to bring on the swoon and goes all out to woo Bren. His antics range from charming and smutty to funny and ridiculous - be prepared to laugh and possibly blush...
